Create and Decode Papyrus
In this creative Ancient Egypt project, pupils explore writing and communication by learning how hieroglyphics worked and creating and decoding messages on papyrus.

HOW does it work?
Using the CREATE framework, students explore the role of scribes, learn how hieroglyphics worked, experiment with writing systems, apply their learning by creating and decoding messages, explain their choices, and evaluate how effectively their symbols communicate meaning.
